NOTEable Singers began in 1974 as an outreach of the Washburn Elementary School PTA. Eight singers made up the founding group, originally called “Sugar and Spice Singers.”
Years later, they added more members, changed their name to the NOTEable Singers, and became a member of the Bloomington Fine Arts Council. In the fall of 2003, they moved to the Bloomington Center for the Arts, where they have excellent facilities for rehearsals and performances.
